When I looked at the picture I noticed the little girl standing at the back of the room. Her face tells a lot about the pain of forced migration and of the uncertain future that lies in front of her.
One of the great unknown about the partition is the affect it had on the young children who saw violence and suffered immensely during the migration.
The videos we see of people narrating their stories in 2017 are probably her age or a little older.
